Additional Information

Sanotint Classic is a gentle and safe treatment for hair, thanks to the natural substances contained in its formula: extracts of golden millet, olive, birch, and grape seed, as well as biotin and calcium pantothenate, allow for a brilliant and long-lasting color while keeping hair healthy, soft, and shiny, ensuring perfect coverage of gray hair from the first application.

Dermatologically tested: Sanotint provides a safe and gentle coloring experience. It is very easy to apply: it spreads well, does not drip, and after a processing time of about 30 minutes, it rinses out like a shampoo. It allows for precise and even distribution of color throughout the hair, from roots to tips, covering 100% of gray hair.

It contains golden millet extract rich in silicon, an important protective factor for hair, along with plant extracts of olive, birch, and grape seed.

The images on this page are for presentation purposes only. The result may vary due to various factors, including the base color of the hair and how long you keeo the dye on before rinsing it off.

How to Use

First time dying your hair at home? Don’t know where to start? No worries, following these simple steps will make dyeing at home easy and stress-free!

  • Prepare the dye: Pour the contents of the color tube into a bowl, add the developer, and mix until you achieve a smooth cream.
  • Divide your hair: Separate your hair into four equal parts (from forehead to nape and from ear to ear).
  • Apply the color: Put on your gloves before you start. Apply the color to dry, unwashed hair. Start at the parting, moving from forehead to nape and from ear to ear. Finally, apply the color between the sections for even coverage.
  • Processing time: Cover your hair with plastic wrap (optional) and wait for 30-40 minutes.
  • Shampoo: Rinse out the dye and wash your hair with shampoo.
  • Styling: With damp, towel-dried hair, apply the revitalizing conditioner, massage it in, and proceed with styling without rinsing.

There you go, enjoy your new look!

Important! Warnings and information on allergies and patch tests.

Here’s how to perform the patch test:

  1. Perform the test at least 48 hours before using the dye.
  2. Mix about half a teaspoon of the color cream with an equal amount of the developer (fixing emulsion).
  3. Apply the mixture to the inside of the elbow using a cotton swab and cover it with a bandage.
  4. Allow it to act for 48 hours.
  5. If there is a reaction during the application time, do not use the product. I

Frequently Answered Questions about Sanotint

Can I use Sanotint during pregnancy?

For the use of our hair dyes during pregnancy, we recommend following the advice of your doctor or specialist. Although our products are formulated to be well-tolerated by the skin, skin sensitivity may increase during pregnancy, raising the risk of allergic reactions even in women who have never experienced them. Therefore, we discourage the use of any hair dye in the first trimester. In the following months, it is essential to consider your doctor’s opinion: some suggest using natural dyes from the fourth month, while others recommend waiting until after pregnancy and breastfeeding. It may be helpful to show the doctor the Sanotint box.

I am allergic to p-Phenylenediamine. Can I use Sanotint?

p-Phenylenediamine (PPD) is included in natural hair dyes because it allows for intense and long-lasting colors. It is considered safe when used in amounts regulated by regulations, as numerous studies have demonstrated its skin tolerance and effectiveness. However, some individuals may be allergic to this substance and develop skin reactions. For these individuals, we created Sanotint Sensitive, an alternative version of Sanotint formulated without PPD, making it suitable for those allergic to this substance.

Can I mix two colors to achieve a more customized shade?

Certainly! You can mix them to achieve customized shades. It’s important to note that Sanotint Classic can only be mixed with another color from the Classic line, and Sanotint Sensitive can only be mixed with colors from the Sensitive line.

Is Sanotint suitable only for women?

Absolutely NOT. Sanotint Classic is suitable for everyone! With more than 30 colors to choose from, there are shades suitable for every person.
