How to Use

You can choose to lighten your hair by up to 3 shades easily and safely, thanks to the gentle formulation.

Indications: Suitable for all hair types. It allows you to achieve warm, golden tones. Simply apply the product to your hair and leave it on until you reach the desired lightening. It can also be used to lighten a dye that turned out too dark or to prepare certain strands for a subsequent dye application to create highlights and streaks. Suitable for lightening unwanted hair as well.

Dosage and Usage: Wear gloves and pour the contents of one sachet of “bleaching powder” into a non-metallic container, adding the contents of one “activator” bottle, and mix until the mixture is completely homogeneous. Apply to dry hair.

Warnings

Read the instructions carefully before use. Follow the recommended processing times to avoid damaging the hair. Do not use on eyelashes and eyebrows, as it contains hydrogen peroxide. If the product comes into contact with the eyes, rinse immediately.

Keep out of reach of children.

Frequently Answered Questions

Can I use Sanotint during pregnancy?

For the use of our hair dyes during pregnancy, we recommend following the advice of your doctor or specialist. Even though our products are formulated to be well-tolerated by the skin, skin sensitivity may increase during pregnancy, raising the risk of allergic reactions even in women who have never experienced them. Therefore, we discourage the use of any hair dye in the first trimester. In the following months, it is essential to listen to your doctor’s opinion: some suggest using natural dyes from the fourth month, while others recommend waiting until after pregnancy and breastfeeding. It may be helpful to show the doctor the Sanotint box.

I am allergic to p-Phenylenediamine. Can I use Sanotint?

p-Phenylenediamine (PPD) is included in natural hair dyes because it allows for intense and long-lasting colors. It is considered safe when used in amounts regulated by regulations, as numerous studies have demonstrated its skin tolerance and effectiveness. However, some individuals may be allergic to this substance and develop skin reactions. For these individuals, we created Sanotint Sensitive. This alternative version of Sanotint is formulated without PPD, making it suitable for those allergic to this substance.

Can I mix two colors to achieve a more customized shade?

Of course! You can mix them to achieve customized shades. It’s important to note that Sanotint Classic can only be mixed with another color from the Classic line, and Sanotint Sensitive can only be mixed with colors from the Sensitive line.

Is Sanotint suitable for woman only?

Absolutely NOT. Sanotint Classic is suitable for everyone! With more than 30 colors to choose from, there are shades suitable for every person.

Why is “Resorcinol Free” written on the package when it is listed in the ingredients?

Sanotint is labeled as Resorcinol Free because it does not contain resorcinol, a chemical commonly used in hair dyes that can cause allergic reactions in some people. However, the ingredient 4-Chlororesorcinol present in our formula is a substance different from resorcinol. Therefore, the name may be misleading.
